Configuring a MC9190

Prefix

1. Tap the Start button in the lower left.
2. Tap the Home button (default in the top right).
3. Tap DataWedge Ready at the next screen (You may have to tap it again to launch the app).
4. Tap Basic configuration.
5. Tap 3. Basic format.
6. Check 1. Enabled, 4. Send data, and 7. Send ENTER key by tapping them. You wll see a check mark appear next to the items. These should be the only items checked.
7. Next tap 2. Prefix to data and a screen will appear where you can input text into a field. Input your companies chosen prefix into the field and tap Save.
8. Back at the previous screen tap back to save the data. Then 0. Exit to go back to the configuration menu.
9. Tap the X in the lower right to exit the app.

WiFi

1. Tap the Start button in the lower left.
2. Tap the Home button (default in the top right).
3. Tap Wifi: <Network SSID> at the next screen (You may have to tap it again to launch the app).

Home page

1. Tap the Start button in the lower left.
2. Tap the Internet Explorer button.
3. Tap the Menu button (4th from the left on the bottom row of icons).
4. Tap Tools.
5. Tap Options.
6. Tap Home Page.
7. Make sure the bottom most option, Custom page is selected.
8. Tap in the field and type in the IP/URL of your LX server.
9. Tap OK
10. Tap OK
11. Tap the X in the lower right to exit the app.
