==Description==
Crystal Reports is a popular tool for building reports that take some number of parameters, pull data from some data source, and display that data in a user-defined manner.

==In ITrack==
Everything that gets printed by ITrack is a Crystal report. For every different page that you can print out of ITrack, a report has been built that pulls the data from the MySQL server, compiles it, and sends it to the printer.

==Difficulties==
Crystal is an evil bitch.

Different versions of Crystal (both the run-time DLLs and the report editor) are plagued with a wide variety of bugs and quirks. If there is any difference between what some aspect of Crystal (built into ITrack, or just within the various run-time DLLs), it will give useless errors and fail.

This problem is exacerbated by the fact that Crystal Reports is used by a wide variety of applications which are all generally counting on a specific version of Crystal (which just happens to be slightly different from everyone else). Each of these applications generally installs it's preferred version of Crystal, which will as often as not fuck up Crystal on that computer for the other applications that use it.

===Making it Work===
In current versions of ITrack, we've had good luck on virtually all the computers we've run across as long as we install the [http://tools.isoftdata.com/Crystal%20Reports%2011.5%20Installer%20Packages.exe Crystal 11 Installer Package] that we found, and make sure that the version of craxdrt.dll that we compile the software with is in the ITrack directory.

This should all be set up by any current ITrack installers, though files could of course be messed up when other applications that use Crystal are installed.

This page will discuss the different features of the ''Customer List Screen''. From this screen you will be able to monitor all of the information about your customers. From the ''Customer List Screen'' you will be able to add, edit, delete and sell to customers. To get to this screen from the [[ITrack/Enterprise/Home Screen|Main Menu]], click on ''Customer List''.

==Adding a Customer==

To add a customer, simply click the '''Add''' button in the lower left hand corner. This will bring you to the ''Customer Information Screen''. You will start in the ''Address Info'' tab.

==Searching for a Customer==
Return to the ''Customer List Screen''. You may get to this screen by clicking on it from the ''Open Windows'' section on the left side of the screen, or, if you have closed the ''Customer List Screen'', you can open it from the [[ITrack/Enterprise/Home Screen|Main Menu]].

At the top of the screen is a drop down list which will show the default search, ''Smart Search''. By clicking on the down arrow in the list, you will see other search options such as Phone Number, Type and City. The customer database can be searched using any of these criteria, so it isn't a problem if you don't remember the name of the company, so long as you remember something about the customer.

The ''Smart Search'' is particularly useful as it searches for matching company or name or partial phone number or customer number all at once.

The next field allows you to specify what you want the search to find in regards to the type of search you selected.

After deciding on your search criteria, enter in keywords into the blank field located right of the middle of the screen. In our example below, we searched for a contact containing the letter "t". Then hit the enter key on your keyboard or click the '''Search''' button on your screen. This will bring up all of the customers that fit your search request.

If you want to see your entire customer database, simply click on the '''Show All''' button located to the right of the '''Search''' button. If you are viewing multiple customers, you can sort them by a variety of ways. By clicking on a certain field near the top of the screen, you can sort the customers by that particular type. All fields will sort alphabetically. For example, if you click the ''Company Name'' field, companies that start with “A” would appear towards the top. By clicking ''Company Name'' again, the results will sort in reverse alphabetical order so the companies that start with “A” would appear towards the bottom.

You can choose the order of your columns so that the most important information is easily viewable. Simply click and drag and column to have it place where you want it. ITrack will remember your column order.

At the bottom of the screen you will notice two check boxes: ''Lookup Balances'' and ''Colorize Balances''.

If ''Lookup Balances'' is checked, your search results will include customers' account balances in the Balance column. If it is unchecked, no balances will appear. If the ''Colorize Balances'' box is checked, customers will appear as colors that correspond to account information.

*Black: Customer has no balance.
*Blue: You owe the customer (customer has a credit).
*Red: The customer owes you money and is over their credit limit.
*Yellow: The customer owes you money but is under their credit limit.

If the ''Colorize Balances'' box is unchecked, all customers will appear black.

Unchecking both of these boxes will result in slightly faster search lookups.

By highlighting a customer, you can then choose to '''Edit''' or '''Sell To''' a customer by selecting the corresponding button located at the bottom of the screen.

This will bring up the options dialog box. To set up your printer settings click on the Printers tab.
Now you can select the type of printer you will be using and where you want it to print. Click the arrow in the field next to Printer Type. This will give you a list of the different types of printing options available in ITrack.

Let's choose Invoice first. Your screen may already show Invoice because it is the first printer type listed. Other types of printing options include Label Tag and Thermal which print part tags and Report which prints all [[Home Screen (Pro)|Home]] Screen reports in addition to some miscellaneous reports. Most printing options are self explanatory.

Now you can decide where to print invoices. You may also choose how many copies of the invoice you want printed each time. Additionally, you may enter and edit an invoice memo that will appear on all of your invoices.

ITrack only knows about the printers that Windows recognizes as installed.

Now let's say we want to set up a printer for reports. ITrack automatically stores printer information. This means that after you are done with printer information for invoices, you can just go to the next type of printing without having to click any buttons.

Click on the drop down list and select Report. Then set the Printer Name for Report. If you go back to Invoice, you will see that the Printer Name was saved. If you are done with the Options box for now, be sure to click OK to save all of the information you have entered so far.

Replikwando is ISoft's database replication program. While active, all changes on your ITrack table will change our locally hosted data. This allows us to make changes to HeavyTruckParts.net as you make changes on site.

== Technical Support ==

Replikwando is a service program meant to be run full-time. If the external internet connection goes down but your clients can still make changes to your local database, Replikwando will just wait for the connection to go back up before sending changes. No data is lost from a disconnect.

All normal operations on the database will be transmitted without error. This includes any changes you make through the ITrack Pro and Enterprise clients. However, editing the database using a different client (such as SQLyog) may result in errors if incorrect or external tables are referenced.

If your Replikwando starts showing errors on its diagnostic screen, or if your HeavyTruckParts.net account seems out-of-date, please call us so we can get you back up to speed as soon as possible!

Currently, installation procedure limits the binary log duration to ten days. If any Replikwando installation happens to go out of sync for a longer time than ten days, a complete push will need to be done.

== Known Issues ==

Currently, Replikwando will not run as a service on Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008. This is a known limitation of our current service infrastructure, and will be fixed in a later update. For the time being, Vista/Server 2008 have excellent task schedulers that allow you to run replikwando on startup.

Any database that reads a local sql file using the LOAD DATA INFILE command is not handled correctly, and will cause an error.

Any calls to a database that are not the replicated one will most likely fail (ie: INSERT INTO `my_db`.`table` SELECT * FROM `not_my_db`.`table`)

==Adding Parts==
There are two main reasons to add parts from this screen versus the teardown screen.

#The part you are entering is aftermarket or miscellaneous, you did not purchase the truck to which this part belongs.
#You have a part off of one of your vehicles and wish to enter in more detailed information about it than you are allowed to from the teardown screen. For example, if you want to upload images of the part.

Access the Part Management Screen by clicking Parts in the Main Menu. Or, bring up the screen by clicking on the Enter Parts button in the [[Vehicles Screen (Pro)|Vehicle Management]] Screen. Then decide which type of part you want to add: Standard, Aftermarket or Miscellaneous.

When you click on Enter Parts from the [[Vehicles Screen (Pro)|Vehicle Management]] Screen, the vehicle information about the part will automatically fill in.

If you click on Parts from the Main Menu, the Part Management Screen will be blank.

==Part Information Tab==
The first tab on the Part Management Screen is Part Information. From this screen you can fill out all of the basic information about the part. Some parts can be broken down into component parts, such as engine assemblies. To break down these parts, click the Breakdown button in the lower right corner. From here, you can tell ITrack which components you have.

==Advanced Tab==

The Advanced tab allows you to enter more information about your parts. From this tab you can view locations for the part, create build orders, and add images and attachments.

===Locations===
From the Advanced tab in the Part Management Screen you can specify locations for parts. The locations section allows you to add more quantities of a part to your inventory.

Locations also allows you you to have a quantity of a certain part in one part of your store and more quantities in another location.

The order of locations is important since as parts are sold, they are taken out of the highest ranked location on the list with parts available.

===Build Orders===
From the Advanced tab in the Part Management Screen you can create build orders. Build orders allow you to combine a group of component parts to make a new part. For example, you may combine a transmission core, a rebuild kit and labor to build a new transmission that is ready to use.

Click the Create New button to create a new build order. This will open up the [[Quotes Screen (Pro)|Quotes]] Screen. This is where you will enter in the different components to make the completed part.

When you have entered in all of the components, click the Save button to go back to build orders. Your build order will now appear with the total cost of creating the new part.

===Attachments and Images===
The Advanced tab in the Part Management Screen allows you to enter images and attachments that will be associated with the part. You may enter an unlimited number of images and attachments for each part.

Click the Add button next to access particular file. Then select the file you want to add. Click the Open button to attach the file. ITrack attaches the image to the part and previews the image in the space below the list.

Other digital files can be associated with the part using the Attachments section. An example of an attachment would be if there was an email sent about the part you could save it as a file and then attach the file to the part.

==Entering New Vehicles==
Clicking on Vehicles in the Main Menu will bring up the Vehicle Management Screen. From this screen you will be able to enter all kinds of information about vehicles.

{{Tip|ITrack includes numerous fields to track many aspects of your inventory and your business. Not all fields are required. Fill out the information you deem necessary and save at any time. If you are missing required information, ITrack will notify you with a pop up box.}}

==Basic Tab==
As you can see, the screen opens on the Basic tab. To create a vehicle, enter the VIN number for the vehicle. ITrack will automatically fill out several of the fields for you based on VIN information.

At the top of the screen is a field called Tracking #. You may assign your own tracking numbers to vehicles if you wish. For example, you may want the tracking number to contain information on the vehicle such as type. Please note that tracking numbers can include alphabetical characters. If you don't want to enter a custom tracking number, ITrack will automatically assign a sequential number for you.

==Advanced Tab==

After you have finished entering all of the information under the Basic tab, click on the Advanced tab to enter more information about the vehicle.

The Advanced tab allows you to enter images and attachments that will be associated with the vehicle. You may enter an unlimited number of images and attachments for each vehicle. Click the Add button next to Images or Attachments to access a particular file. Then select the file you want to add. Click the Open button to attach the file.

If you have entered images and/or attachments, you will be able to see a preview of the file. Now you can either add more files or delete files. If you have entered multiple files, click on the file you want to view and then click the View button to see a preview. Once the vehicle has been saved, you can click the Email button to send a picture of the vehicle to potential customers.

==Info Tab==

Next is the Costs tab. From here, you can enter and track all of the costs associated with a vehicle. First, using the section located at the bottom of the screen you can create a new cost.
Here you can select your type of cost by clicking on the arrow to bring up the drop down menu.
Fill out the rest of the information for the type of cost. Click the box next to CGS if you want to have the price factor into the cost of goods sold.
When you are satisfied with the information, click on the "Create New" button. The cost item will then show up on the screen.

To update an existing cost, simply select the cost in the list and the information will show up in the fields at the bottom. Make any changes that need to be made and click the "Update" button.

The Performance tab will start out blank when you enter in a new vehicle. Information about parts will show up once you enter parts for the vehicle. The first section shows available parts you still have in stock for the vehicle. The next section shows which parts you have sold from the vehicle.

On the right side of the screen is the Totals section. It shows valuable information including how many parts you have sold from this vehicle and the total dollar amount you have sold from the vehicle.

==Q and A Tab==

The final tab on the Vehicle Management Screen is the Q And A tab. This tab allows you to answer questions you want asked about your vehicles. To set questions for vehicles, go to Edit â†’ Parts List and then click on the Teardown Sheets tab. Please reference your administration section of the manual for further information regarding setting up questions for vehicles.

Once you have saved questions, they will show up in the Q And A tab and you can answer them. You many want to ask questions regarding the cleanliness of the vehicle, how it runs, or the oil pressure. You can also set specific questions to certain makes and models of vehicles.

Now that we have finished entering information about the vehicle, we need to enter parts. If you want to enter parts for this vehicle now, click the Parts From Teardown button located in the bottom right of the screen. Now that you are done entering information about a vehicle from the Vehicle Management Screen, click on the Parts From Teardown button located at the bottom of the screen. When you click on this button, the following pop up message will appear. Click Yes if you want to continue to the parts teardown or No if you want to return and enter more information on the vehicle.

When the "Parts from Teardown" dialog appears you can go through the list and click the box next to the parts you want to enter. In the L/R column, you can select if you have the left, right or both sides of a certain part, for example, front doors. Use the scroll bar at the bottom to show more fields. Some of the other fields include pricing options such as retail, wholesale, and core pricing. You may wish to fill out a variety of fields so you will have information saved about the parts such as descriptions and pricing.
When you are finished selecting the parts from teardown for the vehicle, click the OK button to save the parts into your inventory.

Now, when you go back to the vehicle and look at the Performance tab, you will see the parts you entered for the vehicle. When you first enter the parts, they will show as available. Once you sell parts, they will show in the Sold section right below the Available section.

In Enterprise, our users have tended to refer to a "Part Number" as their identifier for inventory records. This has caused confusion, as there are other fields called "[[Part Number (Enterprise)|Part Number]]" that refer to industry standard names for parts, or vendor-specific names for parts.

Replikwando is ISoft's database replication program. While active, all changes on your ITrack table will change our locally hosted data. This allows us to make changes to HeavyTruckParts.net as you make changes on site.

== Installation ==

For installation, please see [[Replikwando/Installation|Replikwando installation]].

== Technical Support ==

Replikwando is a service program meant to be run full-time. If the external internet connection goes down but your clients can still make changes to your local database, Replikwando will just wait for the connection to go back up before sending changes. No data is lost from a disconnect.

All normal operations on the database will be transmitted without error. This includes any changes you make through the ITrack Pro and Enterprise clients. However, editing the database using a different client (such as SQLyog) may result in errors if incorrect or external tables are referenced.

If your Replikwando starts showing errors on its diagnostic screen, or if your HeavyTruckParts.net account seems out-of-date, please call us so we can get you back up to speed as soon as possible!

Currently, installation procedure limits the binary log duration to ten days. If any Replikwando installation happens to go out of sync for a longer time than ten days, a complete push will need to be done.

== Known Issues ==

Currently, Replikwando will not run as a service on Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008. This is a known limitation of our current service infrastructure, and will be fixed in a later update.

Any database that reads a local sql file using the LOAD DATA INFILE command is not handled correctly, and will cause an error.

ITrack Enterprise uses a very flexible accounting system. It is designed to allow for both complex and simple general ledger practices and to easily integrate with any sort of external general ledger based accounting package.

The Accounting Screen in ITrack Enterprise allows a user (probably an administrator) to set up a chart of accounts. This is done in the Accounting screen on the Accounts tab. Accounts in ITrack have a number, a name, a description, and a type. For example:

For certain categories in certain contexts, it might not make sense to fill in an account. For instance taxes are ordinarily applied on the transaction side rather than the inventory side.

In general, for categories that represent inventory items, the Inventory Credit Account should always be the account that represents the value of that inventory item.

==Transactions==
Whenever the General Ledger is affected, all of the entries are grouped into a transaction. The transaction verifies that all of the debits and all of the credits are equal, that balance being the fundamental rule of GL based accounting. The transaction also applies a timestamp recording the exact second that the accounting occurred and exactly how much money was involved. It also allows for user comments.

Each accounting entry is stored as a single record and therefore can be copied into whatever accounting system the user chooses (assuming their accounting package has some mechanism to either import or directly input data).

==Inventory==
Inventory is central to [[ITrack Enterprise]], and therefore a great amount of thought has gone into how it is stored, displayed, searched, and entered. Enterprise is flexible and allows the user to enter pretty much anything into your inventory, even things that don't have a physical representation. However, inventory history is much richer on those items whose quantity on hand fluctuates over time.

Because of the flexible part type system, in which a list of part types segment the user's inventory, ITrack allows the entry of pretty much anything. Common examples of inventory include used parts, new (replenishable) parts, vehicles, vehicle whole units, cores, etc.

Because Enterprise facilitates such a varied catalog of inventory, it must also support the gamut of different business models and the part entry methods to facilitate them. For example, a user could start by entering a [[Vehicles (Enterprise)|vehicle]], then quickly tearing that vehicle down into a whole list custom list of component parts. In addition, the user could start from the [[Part Information (Enterprise)|part information screen]], rapidly entering replenishable parts straight out of their vendor's catalog.

Many tools exist in ITrack Enterprise for rapidly entering, modifying, and managing large quantities of parts. For example, the Part Information screen can replicate an inventory record to other branches with just a couple clicks. As mentioned before, replenishable inventory records can be rapidly populated out of a purchase vendor's catalog (which can be easily imported using the [[Data Management (Enterprise)|data management screen]]). In addition, the copy part functionality allows the user to take an existing inventory record and quickly make a very similar record (making just those modifications that they want). Both of these functions allow an inventory manager to quickly create new inventory records based on existing templates. For modifying or comparing large quantities of inventory records at once, the [[Part Modification (Enterprise)|part modification screen]] allows the user to send a whole list of search results to a spreadsheet-like interface where you can update a field on thousands of parts with just one click (or even export your inventory to MS Excel).

No matter how you go about creating inventory records, ITrack facilitates the entry of a lot of different pieces of information. Here are examples of some of the more advanced pieces of information that can be associated with a part.

* Tag #: this field stores what you call a part, and it is what a part is called internally. Parts can be search by any information on the [[Search (Enterprise)|search screen]], but Tag # has a special place as an inventory record's label. Many users define these numbers manually, while others set their Tag #'s to their default purchase vendor's part #, while yet others use the unique SKU of the inventory record. No matter how you like to refer to your parts, ITrack Enterprise can facilitate it.
* Serials: ITrack facilitates serialized inventory and the separate tracking of individual serial #'s.
* Q&A: ITrack allows the user to define a list of 'questions' based on part type, which can be prompts for any information. Then 'answers' can be defined for each part (for serialized parts, answers can be supplied separately for each serial #).
* Pictures: the user can attach as many digital pictures to each part or vehicle as they want. These pictures can be viewed on the part, printed with the vehicle, seen in the search screen, and even uploaded automatically to [[http://www.HeavyTruckParts.net]] for online inventory advertisement.
* Attachments: inventory records can have attachments associated with them, allowing manuals, coupons, rebates, or other technical documents to be accessible directly from the part or search.
* Messages: messages are prompts that can be defined to show on various screens or print on various reports whenever that part is involved in the transaction. Example messages might be reminders to salesmen, or notes to pickers.
* Pricing levels: used parts have 4 price levels and a cost, and one core charge. In addition, replenishable (aftermarket) parts can have core charges defined at each pricing level.
* Reordering Information: replenishable inventory records can be marked as stocked or special order, have a reordering method defined (Min/Max or Historical), and can have advanced historical information defined (such as seasonal data, stocking point, stocking days, and a safety stock %).
* And much more...

==Vehicles==
In [[ITrack Enterprise]], the concept of teardown lists are somewhat central to the categorization of vehicle records in the system. Essentially, the user can create as many teardown lists as they want, and associate one with every vehicle make/model combination. Directly, teardown lists allow the user to choose a list of part types that are automatically created when vehicles of that type go through the teardown process. For example, a company might only take the hood, wheels, engine, and transmission off of a certain class of vehicle. Creating a teardown and associating it with those vehicles facilitates this process automatically. In addition to the teardown process, Q&A for vehicles is associated with teardown lists, meaning that vehicles inherit their 'questions' based on their teardown type.

Another concept closely tied to vehicles in [[ITrack Enterprise]] is the creation of whole unit records, which are the inventory half of a vehicle record. Once a whole unit record is created for a vehicle (you can set your [[Settings (Enterprise)|global settings]] such that all vehicles will have whole unit records automatically), you can do work on the unit, associate purchase costs with the unit, and even sell the unit like a normal inventory item.

No matter whether you associate a vehicle with a whole unit or not, you can always define a wide variety of data for the vehicles records you enter. From the automatic VIN decoding using [[http:\\www.vinpower.com|VIN Power]], to teardown and purchase tracking, to internal status tracking, to cost tracking and performance, vehicles allow the user associate any data with a vehicle that they would want to track. Below are some of examples of data that can be associated with a vehicle record in ITrack Enterprise.

* Stock #: similar to an inventory record's Tag#, a stock # represents the internal name of a vehicle, and can facilitate any naming scheme a company might require.
* Limitless Damage/Notes fields: the user is able to record as much data as they want in the unlimited notes and damage fields. If you note it, we remember it.
* Pictures: same as the inventory system, vehicles can have a limitless number of pictures associated with them. They can be viewed on the vehicles screen, the vehicle search, and they even show up for parts that came off of that vehicle. You can even hit the email button to send a vehicle spec sheet (with pictures) to a contact or customer.
* Attachments: as with inventory records, vehicles can have attachments associated with them. Such attachments might be titles, scanned documentation, or sale correspondence.
* Q&A: very similar to the inventory system, vehicles can have a user-defined list of 'questions' defined for each teardown list (which teardown list a vehicle uses is based off of its make/model).
* Vehicle cost tracking: in order to properly track the performance of a unit in ITrack, purchase costs, related fees, and internal work/rebuild orders are all tracked for a vehicle. ITrack Enterprise supports both VCR (vehicle cost ratio) part pricing and time of sale %OfP (percent of price) pricing. In VCR pricing, a portion of a vehicle's cost is assigned to each of its components at the time of breakdown based on ratios configured in the teardown. In %OfP, at the time of sale, parts consume a portion of a vehicle's cost when they are sold, based on a percentage of the part's sale price. No matter how a company likes to track vehicle performance, ITrack can track, maintain, and report vehicle costs and sale performance.

==Vendors & Ordering==
In ITrack, the tracking and maintenance of vendors and their catalogs is very well developed. Vendors can be entered with extensive information on the [[Vendor Information Screen (Enterprise)|vendor screen]] and searched on the [[Vendor List (Enterprise)|vendor list screen]].

From the [[Vendor Information (Enterprise)|vendor screen]], an unlimited number of contacts/addresses associated with each vendor, in the case of multiple vendor contacts or locations. Minimum order information and minimum prepaid freight information can be entered for automatic order generation. Attachments can be associated with the vendor, in order to easily store catalogs, documents, rebates, and other documents. Vendor messages allow the user to create prompts that will automatically display on certain screens or print on certain reports when this vendor is associated with the document. Also from the vendor information screen the user can easily view that vendor's catalog (and create/view matching parts) and purchase order history.

In addition to being able view a vendor's catalog from the vendor information screen, all vendors' catalogs can be searched from Enterprise's vendor pricing search on the [[Search (Enterprise)|search screen]]. This allows the user to quickly find all vendors who sell a particular item (the one that is the default purchase vendor for that part is be highlighted) and for how much. This search will search the entire vendor catalog, not just those items that you stock.

Since vendors continuously release new versions of their catalogs, ITrack facilitates quick and easy vendor catalog importing. These vendor catalogs can be imported either by ITrack specialists or by the user through the [[Data Management (Enterprise)|importer on the data management screen]].

ITrack Enterprise also has a very fully featured automatic reordering subsystem. Based on part usage on work orders, sales orders (quotes and invoices), transfer orders, and purchase orders, the system can calculate what the [[Available Quantity (Enterprise)|available quantity]] and [[Quantity On Hand (Enterprise)|quantity on hand]] is for the item at each branch. This data is used to drive the [[Inventory Overview (Enterprise)|inventory overview screen]], which is designed to facilitate automatic, reordering, special order (hot item) management, consumption and order history, multi-branch purchase order creation, and stock transfer creation. Available and on hand quantity, along with part information, such as minimum quantity, maximum quantity, Tag #, order history, and consumption history are presented to the user with a suggested order quantity. This is designed to help the user build a suggested order to a specific purchase vendor.

==Core Management==
In [[ITrack Enterprise]], [[Inventory|inventory items]] can be independently configured to require core returns to the purchase vendor and core exchanges from a customer. In addition, optional return time windows can be configured per item (120 days/30 days/unlimited/etc) to keep track of how long after purchase a core can be returned. If a part is sold to a customer that requires a customer core exchange, an inherent core charge will automatically be added to the order. The amount of the charge is based on the inventory record's core pricing levels and the individual customer's pricing markups.

If an acceptable dirty core exchange isn't entered immediately on the sale, an outstanding core exchange record will appear for that customer order on the [[Core Management Screen (Enterprise)|core management screen]]. The core management screen keeps track of outstanding customer cores on the Customer Cores tab, shows returned customer cores on the Returned Cores tab, and shows outstanding vendor core charges on the Vendor Cores tab. As mentioned, the Customer Cores page allows the user to review and pursue outstanding customer cores. Once cores are returned, the Returned Cores tab allows the user to take returned core records and associate them with existing inventory records.

This facilitates the use of dirty core pools (serialized or otherwise), or creation of individual used dirty core records for each return, depending on company policy. As with many options that ITrack leaves up to the user, often one option is easier for one business model while the other option facilitates a completely different process. In this case, a company that returns most of its dirty cores to a vendor or who doesn't care about keeping track of the items individually will probably keep items in a dirty core pool for a specific Part #. However, a company that is a certified remanufacturer for a part type or who deals in a lot of used parts might keep track of the items separately to better track individual used part performance.

The last page, Vendor Cores, shows the user outstanding cores owed to purchase vendors. From here, the user can examine needed cores and initiate vendor returns. In order to facilitate returning cores with different core classes or qualities, the item that is returned to satisfy the owed core is flexible.
