==Support Information for ITrack LX==

===Do not let the Bar Code Scanner lose power===
{{Tip|IF THE SYMBOL LOSES POWER FOR MORE THAN 30 MINUTES THEN WE WILL HAVE TO REINSTALL THE OPERATING SYSTEM!}}

===Login Screen===
*If the login screen does not properly fit the screen: Go to Menu >> Display >> Fit to screen

===Bar Code Information===
*Bar codes will not scan properly unless the pre/post tags are before/after the bar code number
Pre/Post Tag -> :$:

*Bar Codes must also have an asterisk (*) at the front and back of the bar code

===My bar code isn't scanning===
*Open up the "notes" program and try scanning a bar code. If the scanner is working properly then text should show up; if no text appears then you know that the scanner is not working correctly.

===Seeing what the customer sees===
*To view the customer's screen (similar to what is done with Instant VNC or Remote Desktop Connection), you will need both [http://download.cnet.com/Microsoft-ActiveSync/3000-2094_4-10031823.html Activesynch] and [http://dl.isoftdata.com/MyMobiler.exe MyMobiler.exe].
*Have the customer give you a VNC connection, then install ActiveSync first, followed by MyMobiler. Once everything is set up, this will allow you to remotely view the Symbol.

===If the keys on the Symbol are not working===
*The Keylock feature may be enabled; have the customer look on the bottom right side of the device. There should be a small switch on the machine itself - if the switch is in the 'Up' postion (that should have a picture of a lock next to it) then Keylock is enabled and the customer needs to press the switch to the down position to release the Keylock.

[[Image:Keylock.jpg]]

===If you need to restart the Symbol===
*On the back of the machine there will be a small button around the middle of the right side. If this button is pressed it will restart the Symbol. Note: You will need a pencil or paperclip to press in the Reset Button.

===I scanned parts out in the yard, but I can't find them once I get back within internet range===
*ITrack LX has a feature where it will store information about parts, even if there is no internet connection available. Those parts will then be uploaded once an internet signal is found.
*Refresh the page and the parts should appear.

===The device finds the wireless signal, but won't connect to the internet===
*Check if 'Flight Mode' is on (If so, there will be two circling arrows next to the volume icon). Flight mode turns off all transmitting/receiving functions, thus disabling internet on the Symbol. To turn off flight mode:
#Reset the Symbol
#If that doesn't work, pull the battery for a few seconds, and replace the battery (Warning: you might lose any stored information on the Symbol)

===My device is having trouble with WPA===
* The Symbol gets a bit grumpy when WPA is used. It behaves a lot better for WEP.
* Whatever the case is, the wireless settings on the Symbol should match the settings on the router. To check the settings on the Symbol, click on the wireless icon in the bottom right corner of the screen and select WLAN Profiles.

===My Symbol is Stuck inside Avalanche===
* The Avalanche exit passowrd is "leave".

Aserafino:

==Setting up Your Local Webserver==
Before you can do local development on Web products, you need a web server that supports PHP 5.3. The standard here at ISoft is Apache 2.2.17 in conjunction with PHP 5.3.5, and a MySQL connector or server of some kind. In the future, we will theoretically support IIS, since some clients use it on their Windows boxes, but this Wiki currently only covers the WAMP stack.

===Installing WampServer 2===
The easiest way to get all of this up and running from a clean install is with WampServer2, which can be downloaded and installed [http://www.wampserver.com/en/download.php here].

If you've already got some installed components, you'll have to install some things separately, but none of the individual components should be too difficult to get working.

===Installing the xdebug Plugin for PHP===
This plugin is needed in order to step through your PHP scripts in the IDE of your choice (read: Eclipse). You can find step-by-step instructions for properly downloading and installing the xdebug plugin [http://www.xdebug.org/find-binary.php here]. This wizard tailors its instructions to your particular setup.

==Setting Up Eclipse==
===The Foundation: Eclipse, Classic Edition===
We're going to be starting from the Classic Edition of Eclipse, which can be found at the [http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/ Eclipse project homepage]. Alternately, you can grab Eclipse for PHP Developers, but if you get that version, and you want Java or other languages, you'll have to add them yourself later.

===Installing Eclipse===
Eclipse doesn't "install" per se... Instead, it unzips into its own folder on your local hard drive. I unzipped mine into C:\Program File\eclipse. You will have to create any Start Menu or Quick Launch shortcuts yourself, but eclipse is ready to go out-of-the-box. All you have to do when you run it for the first time is specify a workspace folder, and the default is usually fine.

===Standard Eclipse Plugins===
You will also need some specific tools to do development in PHP, Javascript, CSS, and HTML.

To install plugins, click Eclipse's 'Help' menu and choose "Install New Software." In the dialog that appears, choose "Helios" from the "Work with" dropdown. In the list of updates, expand the Programming Language item and check
off Java, XML, Javascript, and PHP. From "Web, XML, and Java EE Development, choose Java EE, XSL, and Eclipse Web Developer tools. Also grab the Web Page Editor. Click through the install wizard and restart Eclipse if required.

==Optional Plugins==
===Subversion Integration===
The Subclipse plugin is a powerful tool that integrates subversion with Eclipse. This plugin is optional considering some developers may already be comfortable with Tortoise SVN; however, if you want to integrate subversion into your IDE, subclipse is a very slick way to do it.

To install Subclipse, go back to Help->Install New Software. In the Work with box, enter <nowiki>"http://subclipse.tigris.org/update_1.6.x"</nowiki> and click Add. Give the repository a name like "Subclipse repository," click OK and wait for the update list to refresh. From the update list, check off the boxes for Core SVNKit Library and Optional JNA Library. From the Subclipse submenu, choose all of the required items. Click through the installer.

Restart Eclipse if necessary, and you should now be ready to work with SVN from inside the IDE.

===Installing Quantum DB===
Quantum DB is also optional, since you might already be used to SQLYog; however, if you'd like to browse and manipulate databases from within your IDE, it's a powerful, competitive tool. The update site for Quantum DB (which can be added in similar fashion to the update site for Subclipse above) is <nowiki> http://quantum.sourceforge.net/update-site</nowiki>. Select all Core and Import-Export packages, then click through the installer.

===Connecting to a Database===
To connect to a database, you will need MySQL Connector/J, which can be downloaded from http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/j/. Once you have the jar file somewhere on your hard drive, go to the Quantum DB perspective (Window->Open Perspective->Other->Quantum DB), right click inside the Database Bookmarks view and choose "New Bookmark..." Click the "Add driver" button, click the "External JAR file" button, browse to the Connector/J .jar file. Click browse to choose a driver object and choose the top one (com.mysql.jdbc.Driver). Click OK.

Back in the New Bookmark dialog, choose MySQL-AB JDBC Driver, click Next, and fill in the database details. Click Next, choose a name for the database, and you're almost done. The final step is to change a single setting on the database bookmark that will fix a compatibility issue between MySQL Connector/J and the way our databases are formatted.

Right click the new bookmark and choose Properties. At the end of the Connection URL, paste the string "?zeroDateTimeBehavior=convertToNull" and click OK. You should now be ready to connect to your database by double-clicking the bookmark, and you can browse and run queries in much the same way as you could in SQLYog. Take some time to experiment with the new interface.

==Your First Project==
===Creating a Web App Project Without Subclipse===
If you have the Subclipse plugin, you can check out the code for your project at the same time you create your project. Otherwise, you're better off checking out your code to Webroot before you create the project in Eclipse. Webroot can be determined by looking at the output of phpinfo(). In WampServer2, you can view the output of PHPInfo by clicking on the tray icon, choosing Localhost, and following the PHPInfo link in the webpage that comes up in the browser.

To create your project, go to File->New->PHP Project. Since we're not using Subclipse, "Create project at existing location". (If you already have a working copy checked out, you can still choose this option and the Subclipse plugin will still work.) Check "Enable Javascript support for this project" if it isn't checked, enter a project name, and click "finish."

===Creating a Webapp Project With Subclipse===
If you have the subclipse plugin (and you haven't already checked out your working copy into Webroot - see above), you can go to File->New->PHP Project and choose "Create new project in workspace." Again, check "Enable Javascript support" if it isn't checked, click finish.

To import code from the repository using the Subclipse plugin, right-click on the name of your new project in PHP explorer and choose "Share Project" from the Team submenu. Choose SNV, click Next, use existing repository location (<nowiki>https://svn.isoftdata.com/Web</nowiki>), click Next. To find your specific product/branch/codebase in the repository, choose Use specified folder name, and click Select to browse to your code. Click "Finish", then "Next", and your codebase will be checked out into your project. You can perform SVN operations on your new project by right-clicking on a file (or the project name) and choosing from the Team submenu. When committing, you can see a graphical diff by double-clicking on any files that have changed.

==Debugging Your Projects With the xdebug Plugin==
To step through the PHP in your project, you should create a Debug profile by visiting Run->Debug Configurations and double-clicking the PHP Webpage configuration. This will create a new configuration called, appropriately enough, "New configuration." (I recommend renaming it to something useful, like, "EnterpriseLX Debug"). For your Server Debugger, choose XDebug. Your PHP server should be the default PHP webserver. Under "file", browse to the index file for your project; make sure "Break at first line" and "autogenerate" are checked (unless you have an unusual URL for your project.) You may want to add this debug configuration to your favorites by checking Debug in the Display in favorites menu box on the Common tab. Once you've got everything set up the way you want it, click "Apply" and then "Debug."

If you want to look at your project in an external browser, you can choose "Default system browser" from the Window->Web Browser menu. You can also step through your Javascript if Firefox has the Mozilla Rhino plugin installed.

==Further Question==
Now you have all the tools you need to create and edit projects, check them in and out of the repository, and debug them on your local development computer. If you have further questions, Eclipse has lots of online documentation, and you can always talk to your senior developer as well. Good luck, and happy coding!

===Setting up Your Local Webserver===

==Installing WampServer 2==

==Setting Up Eclipse==
===The Foundation: Eclipse, Classic Edition===

===Installing Eclipse===

===Standard Eclipse Plugins===

==Optional Plugins==
===Subversion Integration===

==SVN Command Line HOWTO==

This document explains the three most important SVN commands that you can use from a command line. It doesn't deal with questions you may have about how to use TortoiseSVN, ISoft's favorite SVN tool for Windows.

Although SVN is a command-line program, it is also context-sensitive. In other words, SVN assumes that you want to operate on files in the current directory, so you should change directories to your "working copy" before getting started.

You can run SVN commands by typing 'svn', followed by the command, followed by the command arguments; for example, if your working copy were stored in /var/www/lx, and you wanted to commit your changes to the repository, you would type:

<pre>
cd /var/www/lx
svn commit
</pre>

===CHECKOUT===

Before you can use or work on a product that is stored in SVN, you need to check it out. First, you need an SVN username and password, and you need to know the URL of the files you are checking out. (For example, ITrack products are kept in <nowiki>https://svn.isoftdata.com/ITrack/trunk</nowiki>, LXE is kept in <nowiki>https://svn.isoftdata.com/Web/trunk/EnterpriseLX</nowiki>, etc.

Then, create a folder for your local "working copy" of the product, go to the folder, and enter 'svn checkout' followed by the URL, like this:

<pre>
svn checkout https://svn.isoftdata.com/Web/trunk/EnterpriseLX
</pre>

This command will check out all the files needed for running LXE on a given server. (Note that LXE is not ready to use out-of-the-box like this; in order to prepare LXE for actual use follow the steps for [[Installing LX]].)

===UPDATE===

If you have already checked out files in the past, and you want to update those files based on what is in the SVN repository, you use the 'update' command, like this:

<pre>
svn update
</pre>

If there are conflicts between files, you may need to choose between the version of the file that is in the repository ("tc") and the version of the file that is stored in the current directory ("mc"). Otherwise, you may wish to hand-carve the local file based on the differences between it and the one in the repository ("ec"). If you just want to '''see''' the differences, type "df" at the question prompt. (For details on the 'diff' command, including how to read its output, enter 'man diff' from a linux prompt.)

===COMMIT===

You may wish to upload local changes to the repository, creating a new revision that reflects those changes. To do so, you must first ensure that the local copy has been updated (see UPDATE above). Then, commit your changes like this:

<pre>
svn commit
</pre>

SVN may ask you to enter some comments in a text editor regarding your changes; you can enter comments or just type :wq to submit your changes without comment.

===Conclusion===
These are the three day-to-day operations you will likely want to use from the command line. For more detailed information about using SVN, you may wish to read [http://svnbook.red-bean.com/en/1.5/index.html Version Control with Subversion].

==Support Information for ITrack LX==

===Do not let the Bar Code Scanner lose power===
{{Tip|IF THE SYMBOL LOSES POWER FOR MORE THAN 30 MINUTES THEN WE WILL HAVE TO REINSTALL THE OPERATING SYSTEM!}}

===Login Screen===
*If the login screen does not properly fit the screen: Go to Menu >> Display >> Fit to screen

===Bar Code Information===
*Bar codes will not scan properly unless the pre/post tags are before/after the bar code number
Pre/Post Tag -> :$:

*Bar Codes must also have an asterisk (*) at the front and back of the bar code

===My bar code isn't scanning===
*Open up the "notes" program and try scanning a bar code. If the scanner is working properly then text should show up; if no text appears then you know that the scanner is not working correctly.

===Seeing what the customer sees===

==Main Menu==
[[Image:Pro home menuhighlight 01.png|thumb|right|600px|Home Screen]]
The Home Screen is the starting point for ITrack Pro. On the Home Screen you see the Main Menu, a list of open windows, pending jobs, and other valuable information.

The Main Menu is the command center of your inventory system. All of the different screens in ITrack Pro are available in the Main Menu, located on the left side of the screen.

ITrack Pro is different from other inventory management systems because it allows you to open more than one screen at a time. This allows you to easily toggle back and forth between screens, saving you time.

Below the Main Menu you will see an Open Windows list. Every time you open a new screen from the Main Menu, it will show up in the Open Windows list. This will show you which screens you have open. You can easily switch to an open screen by clicking it in the list.

==Print Reports==
[[Image:Pro_home_reports_01.png|thumb|left|200px|Print Reports tab of the Home Screen]]
The Print Reports tab allows you to select different reports and print them.

There are a variety of reports for you to choose from such as sales by salesperson, payments received and inventory summary. Some reports, such as the billing report, allow you to enter in date parameters so that you can see a how a certain aspect of your business performed over a certain period of time.

==Imports/Exports==
[[Image:Pro home imports exports 01.png|thumb|left|200px|Imports/Exports tab of the Home Screen]]
ITrack allows you to export and import your data easily via the Imports/Exports tab. Send parts to Car-Part.com, HeavyTruckParts.Net, Automotix, or to a PDA. You can also import data from a PDA after you've scanned parts out in your yard. Click the type of export you want. Most exports do not require a date selected, but the MAS 90 export does require beginning and ending dates.

Once the export is complete a message that the export is complete will appear in the message box above the buttons.

== Document Tabs ==
=== Quotes ===
The Quotes tab allows you to easily view a variety of quotes your company has created. You can choose to view active quotes, expired quotes or all quotes (both active and expired). You can also select whether you want to view your quotes or everyone's quotes.

For info on creating new quotes, deliveries, build orders or work orders see the [[ITrack/Pro/Quotes Screen|Quotes]] screen.

=== Deliveries ===
The Deliveries tab allows to to view the deliveries your company has created. Deliveries are created from the Quotes Screen and are very similar to quotes except delivery tickets never expire. Deliveries are useful for items that will be placed on a truck to be delivered to customers.

=== Build Orders ===
Build orders are made in the Quotes Screen and allow you to combine a group of component parts to make a new part. For example, you may combine a transmission core, a rebuild kit and labor to build a new transmission that is ready to use.
<br>
You can view active, closed, or all build orders. You can also choose to view your build orders or all build orders created.

=== Work Orders ===
The Work Orders tab allows you to view work orders. Work orders are made in the Quotes Screen and allow you to put parts on hold that will be used to do work on a customer's vehicle. Work orders do not expire.

[[Image:Pro parts information 1.png|thumb|right|475px|Part Management Screen, Part Information Tab]]
==Adding Parts==
There are two main reasons to add parts from this screen versus the teardown screen.

#The part you are entering is aftermarket or miscellaneous, you did not purchase the truck to which this part belongs.
#You have a part off of one of your vehicles and wish to enter in more detailed information about it than you are allowed to from the teardown screen. For example, if you want to upload images of the part.

Access the Part Management Screen by clicking Parts in the Main Menu. Or, bring up the screen by clicking on the Enter Parts button in the [[ITrack/Pro/Vehicles Screen|Vehicle Management]] Screen. Then decide which type of part you want to add: Standard, Aftermarket or Miscellaneous.

When you click on Enter Parts from the Vehicle Management Screen, the vehicle information about the part will automatically fill in.

If you click on Parts from the Main Menu, the Part Management Screen will be blank.

==Part Information Tab==
The first tab on the Part Management Screen is Part Information. From this screen you can fill out all of the basic information about the part. Some parts can be broken down into component parts, such as engine assemblies. To break down these parts, click the Breakdown button in the lower right corner. From here, you can tell ITrack which components you have.

==Advanced Tab==
[[Image:Pro parts advanced 1.png|thumb|left|475px|Part Management Screen, Advanced Tab]]

The Advanced tab allows you to enter more information about your parts. From this tab you can view locations for the part, create build orders, and add images and attachments.

===Locations===
From the Advanced tab in the Part Management Screen you can specify locations for parts. The locations section allows you to add more quantities of a part to your inventory.

Locations also allows you you to have a quantity of a certain part in one part of your store and more quantities in another location.

The order of locations is important since as parts are sold, they are taken out of the highest ranked location on the list with parts available.

===Build Orders===
From the Advanced tab in the Part Management Screen you can create build orders. Build orders allow you to combine a group of component parts to make a new part. For example, you may combine a transmission core, a rebuild kit and labor to build a new transmission that is ready to use.

Click the Create New button to create a new build order. This will open up the [[ITrack/Pro/Quotes Screen|Quotes]] Screen. This is where you will enter in the different components to make the completed part.

When you have entered in all of the components, click the Save button to go back to build orders. Your build order will now appear with the total cost of creating the new part.

===Attachments and Images===
The Advanced tab in the Part Management Screen allows you to enter images and attachments that will be associated with the part. You may enter an unlimited number of images and attachments for each part.

Click the Add button next to access particular file. Then select the file you want to add. Click the Open button to attach the file. ITrack attaches the image to the part and previews the image in the space below the list.

Other digital files can be associated with the part using the Attachments section. An example of an attachment would be if there was an email sent about the part you could save it as a file and then attach the file to the part.

The '''Pub.''' column defines if a particular image will be displayed on web. If the check box next to the image it is not checked, it won't be displayed on the web but will still be viewable in ITrack.

===The Checkboxes===
These allow you to specify whether a part is Replenish-able, Deplete-able, Taxable, and/or shown on the Internet. By default, all part types are taxable, world-viewable, and deplete-able. Aftermarket parts are also replenish-able by default; the rest are not.

The Deplete check-box indicates whether an item's quantity changes when it is ordered and sold; the Replenish check-box indicates whether an item's status is reset to 'S' when its quantity reaches '0'.

==Breakdown Tab==
[[Image:Pro breakdown 1.PNG|thumb|right|475px|Part Management Screen, Breakdown Tab]]

The last tab on the Part Management screen is the Breakdown Tab. The breakdown tab displays a list of parts that have been or can be broken down from the parent part which is loaded on the Part Management screen. It can contain multiple child parts of the same type.

===Creating and Removing Child Parts===
To indicate that a particular child part has been broken off of the parent part, find it in the list and change its quantity to anything greater than zero. If you do not enter a tag number for the given child part, one will be chosen for you. To remove a child part from the list, simply reset its quantity to zero.

===Editing Child Parts===
To edit this list, you can simply change the value of any field, but please be aware that changing the part type on the Part Info tab without saving your changes on the breakdown tab will cause those changes to be lost, since there is a different list of potential parts that can be broken down from each parent part type. The information on child parts listed in this tab is saved whenever you save the parent part.

[[Image:Pro parts information 1.png|thumb|right|475px|Part Management Screen, Part Information Tab]]
==Adding Parts==

==Part Information Tab==

==Advanced Tab==
[[Image:Pro parts advanced 1.png|thumb|left|475px|Part Management Screen, Advanced Tab]]

The Advanced tab allows you to enter more information about your parts. From this tab you can view locations for the part, create build orders, and add images and attachments.

===Locations===

===Build Orders===

===Attachments and Images===

===The Checkboxes===
These allow you to specify whether a part is Replenishable, Depletable, Taxable, and/or shown on the Internet. By default, all part types are taxable, world-viewable, and depletable. Aftermarket parts are also replenishable by default; the rest are not.

==Breakdown Tab==

===Creating and Removing Child Parts===
To indicate that a particular child part has been broken off of the parent part, find it in the list and change its quantity to anything greater than zero. If you do not enter a tag number for the given child part, one will be chosen for you. To remove a child part from the list, simply reset its quantity to zero.

===Editing Child Parts===

The options listed in this section are the standard ITrack Pro options seen below.
Your ITrack Pro system may have additional options if you have purchased special modules. If you need information about an option not described, please [[Call ISoft|contact ISoft Data Systems]].
==General Information==
Located at the very top left of the screen, you will see three drop down menus. These menus are File, Edit and Help.

To open the options dialog, first click on the Edit menu. Keep holding down your mouse clicker and then release it when you have highlighted the word Options.

Click on the General tab to bring up general information.

There are very few times you will need to change any of the top pieces of information in the General tab. Whenever a new computer is added to the network, or automatic changes to the network occur, some parts of this tab must be changed. If you need to change any of this information, it is highly recommended that you [[Call ISoft|contact ISoft Data Systems technical services]].
The bottom three check boxes located on the General tab are useful and can be changed without assistance.
*'''B'''	If checked, new parts will have the print tag check box on the [[ITrack/Pro/Search Screen|Search]] Screen checked by default.
*'''C'''	Prints interchange information on invoices.

'''Remember, changing the information in the General tab could result in your information being moved! Please contact a technician before changing this information. Restricting users' ability to edit this page will significantly decrease the chance that information will be changed .'''
[[Image:Pro_Options_Printer_tab_1.png|thumb|right|600px|Options Printer Tab]]

==Printer Settings==
Located at the very top left of the screen, you will see three drop down menus. These menus are File, Edit and Help.

To open options, first click on the Edit menu. Keep holding down your mouse clicker and then release it when you have highlighted the word Options.
This will bring up the options dialog box. To set up your printer settings click on the Printers tab.
Now you can select the type of printer you will be using and where you want it to print. Click the arrow in the field next to Printer Type. This will give you a list of the different types of printing options available in ITrack.

Let's choose Invoice first. Your screen may already show Invoice because it is the first printer type listed. Other types of printing options include Label Tag and Thermal which print part tags and Report which prints all [[ITrack/Pro/Home Screen|Home]] Screen reports in addition to some miscellaneous reports. Most printing options are self explanatory.

Now you can decide where to print invoices. You may also choose how many copies of the invoice you want printed each time. Additionally, you may enter and edit an invoice memo that will appear on all of your invoices.

ITrack only knows about the printers that Windows recognizes as installed.

Now let's say we want to set up a printer for reports. ITrack automatically stores printer information. This means that after you are done with printer information for invoices, you can just go to the next type of printing without having to click any buttons.

Click on the drop down list and select Report. Then set the Printer Name for Report. If you go back to Invoice, you will see that the Printer Name was saved. If you are done with the Options box for now, be sure to click OK to save all of the information you have entered so far.
[[Image:Pro_Options_TaxItems_Tab_1.png|thumb|right|600px|Options Tax Item Tab]]

'''The "Copes Per Invoice" option applies only to the "Invoice" printer type.'''
==Tax Items==

To open options, first click on the Edit menu. Keep holding down your mouse clicker and then release it when you have highlighted the word Options.
Click on the Tax Items tab to bring up tax items.
You can now edit the current tax information, or add new tax items.

===Add New Tax Item===
To add a new tax item, click on the Add button.
This will bring up a small Tax Item box and allow you to enter in the new tax item. At this point you can also add a second tier tax. A second tier tax is used when a different tax rate is used for totals that are over a certain dollar amount. (i.e.: On a total of $1,500, the first $1,000 is taxed at 6% but the next $500 is taxed at a 4% rate.)
When you are done with the Tax Item box, click OK. Your new tax will now show up with the other taxes listed.

===Editing Tax Items===
To edit a tax item, click on the tax item you need to edit. The text on the Edit button will then go from grey to black. You may now click the Edit button to bring up the Tax Item box, just like when you clicked the Add button. Now you can make changes and click OK to save.
==Company Information==
==Setting up payment Methods==
Located at the very top left of the screen, you will see three drop down menus. These menus are File, Edit and Help.

To open options, first click on the Edit menu. Keep holding down your mouse clicker and then release it when you have highlighted the word Options.
Click on the Payment Methods tab to add new payment types or edit existing payment methods. ([http://wiki.isoftdata.com/index.php/Image:Pro_Options_PayMethod_tab_1.png Options Payment Methods Tab screen shot])

When you click the Add or Edit buttons, it brings up a small box that allows you to set specifications and a name for the payment type.
*'''A'''	Allows users to type in a check number or authorization number at the time of sale for this payment type.
*'''B'''	Newly created customers will be allowed to use this payment method.
*'''C'''	Cash-Only customers will be unable to use this method. Also, some reports will lump these payments together as unpaid.
*'''D'''	This method will be added to all existing customers as soon as you close the options dialog by clicking the 'OK' button. Future customers will not receive permission to use this payment method unless the 'Automatically Assign to New Customers' box is checked also. If the 'Automatically add' box is unchecked, you will have to manually add permissions to each customer that is allowed to use this method.

When you are finished adding or editing the information, click OK to save. Any payment methods you have saved in the Payment Methods tab will show up as a Payment Method option on the Sales screen.

==Pricing Options==
[[Image:Pro_Options_Pricing_tab_1.png|thumb|left]]
Located at the very top left of the screen, you will see three drop down menus. These menus are File, Edit and Help.

To open options, first click on the Edit menu. Keep holding down your mouse clicker and then release it when you have highlighted the word Options.

Click on the Pricing tab to change your company's pricing options. First, enter in a pricing breakpoint, then determine mark-ups and mark-downs for both retail and wholesale sales. Items below the breakpoint will use the below breakpoint markup. This allows for higher profit margins for inexpensive items.

==Reports==
[[Image:Pro_Options_Report_tab_1.png|thumb|right]]
Click on the Reports tab to bring up reports.
It is important to note that report settings affect all computers using the same ITrack Pro database, not just the computer you are using.

To add a new report, click the Browse button and select the report. Then, type in a report name. Finally, click the Add button to add the report. You can select a printer type for the report by clicking on the Printer Type drop down list and selecting a printer type.
When you are finished making your report, click the OK button to save your report. Contact ISoft Data Systems technical services to purchase reports customized to fit your business needs.

==Overview==
Build orders are created from the parts screen and allow you to rebuild a part from a combination of parts. The cost of the part on the Parts screen is the sum total of the build orders associated with that part.

===How to create a build order===
To create a build order you need an existing part, so go to the Parts screen and enter the necessary vehicle, part type, and cost information, as well as any other relevant information about the part. Alternatively, you could open an existing part from the Search screen or from another screen. Then go to the advanced tab (on the Parts screen) and click the "Create New" button. This will open the Quotes screen and you can begin adding parts to the build order. When you are finished, click 'Save'.

==Interaction Between Parts Screen and Quotes Screen==
===Parts with existing build orders===
For parts that already have associated build orders, the Quotes screen will be cleared and the user will have a chance to save any data they were working on. The customer information fields are greyed out and the user no longer has access to them. In addition, the "Build Order" radio button is selected automatically.

The user is free to add parts to the build order at this point as if it were a regular quote or invoice. Once the user finishes and saves the build order, the Build Order Number and Total Cost of the build order is added to the Build Order list on the Advanced tab of Part screen, and the cost from all the build orders on this particular part is added up to replace the Cost field on the Part Info tab. This field then becomes read-only, since the cost of this part will be derived from the sum of the total costs of its build orders from this point on.

===Opening existing build orders from the Parts screen===
Build orders can be opened from the Advanced tab on the Parts screen by opening the Part and double-clicking the Build Order in the Build Order List. This will open the Build Order in the Quotes screen.

At this time, a build order that was just added to a new Part cannot be opened this way. You will have to navigate to a different part or clear or close the Parts screen, then reopen the part and double-click the Build Order.

===Parts without existing build orders===
The first build order for a part will include the cost of the part itself, so this cost is added to the Quotes screen as the first line item. An extra line is also added so that the user can continue as described above. This way the cost of the original part is included in the Total Cost on the Part Info tab along with the combined cost of all the build orders.

===New Parts===
The Quotes screen accepts only the new part number, the store number, and the Build Order Number, and goes back to the database to get the rest of the information about the parent part. Therefore, new parts must be saved to the database before Build Orders can be added to them on the Quotes screen.

==The Home Screen==
New build orders also show up on the Home Screen.

==Overview==
Build orders are created from the parts screen and allow you to rebuild a part from a combination of parts. The cost of the part on the Parts screen is the sum total of the build orders associated with that part.
