However, the user can manually assign cost to teardown components from the vehicles screen or individually on the parts screen using the cost field. The user should not allocate cost to components that exceeds the entire vehicle cost pool. The cost ~~column will automatically change once you set the VCR values.~~

	~~If you want to assign a percentage cost to a part from a vehicle you need~~ to ~~make sure~~ that the ~~sum of the VCR values add up to 100~~. For ~~example~~, ~~you can have three parts with three different VCR values: 33, 52, and 15. The first part will have 33% of~~ the vehicle~~'s value~~, ~~the second part will have 52%, and the third part will have 15%.~~

	~~You can set default VCR values for~~ part types on the Part Configuration Screen. If the VCR values on the Teardown tab of the Vehicle Screen do not match the default VCR values from the Part Configuration Screen, then ITrack will throw a warning - which you can ignore if you wish to override the default VCR values.

	Once in Bid mode you will notice the Costs and Performance tabs go away and a new Bid tab appears. From this tab you can enter in Manufacturer and Model information for parts and automatically receive local sales, auction and HTP price estimates. These estimates can be used to get an idea of the value of the vehicle you're bidding on. Mousing over these field will give you more even more detailed information such as average, min, max & the number of records. At the bottom, in the "Intelligence" section totals of the displayed estimates will be shown. Appraisal information is saved in ITrack to preserve the estimate that was given at the time of the bid.
