Use this page as a checklist for all the things our customers might need when setting up a new server.
Required (Every customer server needs the following done)
- 1. MySQL installed.
- 2. MySQL users created.
- 3. Replace Testuser account with an appropriate MySQL user account. (Client workstations will need the new credentials as well if an old password is being upgraded.)
- 4. Replace function definers with new MySQL username.
- 5. Replikwando current stable version.
- 6. Image Synch (and Python 3.xx, and the MySQL-Python Connector.)
- 7. Attachment Manager (Pro or Enterprise.)
- 8. SQLYog Community.
- 9. Import pre-existing data OR setup new Pro (Auto/Truck/MX), Enterprise or Presage database.
- 10. Create necessary Windows scheduled tasks (Image Synch primarily.)
Optional (if the customer/we require it)
- 1. Put a primary installation (Pro, Enterprise, Presage) on the server, either for our use or if the customer purchased one and wants it there.
- 2. Quickbooks, Quickbooks SDK, QBFC.
- 3. WAMP (if they use LX Pro or LXW.)
- 4. LX Pro or LXW. (aka ITrack Mobile
- 5. OpenVPN (if they require our VPN solution.)
- 6. MySQL supporting components (PHP Rolling Backups, UDF Thumbnailer)
- 7. Car-part for Auto Yards.
Nice to have (These aren't required but can be helpful in doing our jobs)
- 1. 7-zip.
- 2. Notepad++.
- 3. Unlocker.
- 4. Malwarebytes.
