Configuring a MC9190

Prefix

1. Click the Start button in the lower left.
2. Click the Home button in the top right
3. Click "DataWedge Ready" at the next screen. You may have to click it again to launch the program.
4. Click "Basic configuration."
5. Click "3. Basic format."
6. At the next screen check "1. Enabled", "4. Send data", and "7. Send ENTER key" by clicking them. You wll see a check mark appear next to the items. These should be the only items checked.
7. Next click "2. Prefix to data" and a screen will appear where you can input text into a field. Input [whatever prefix Ken will choose] into the field and click Save.
8. Back at the previous screen click back to save the data. Then "0. Exit" to go back to the configuration menu.
9. Click the "X" in the lower right to exit the application.
