Configuring a MC9190

Prefix

1. Tap the Start button in the lower left.
2. Tap the Home button in the top right
3. Tap "DataWedge Ready" at the next screen. You may have to tap it again to launch the program.
4. Tap "Basic configuration."
5. Tap "3. Basic format."
6. At the next screen check "1. Enabled", "4. Send data", and "7. Send ENTER key" by tapping them. You wll see a check mark appear next to the items. These should be the only items checked.
7. Next tap "2. Prefix to data" and a screen will appear where you can input text into a field. Input [whatever prefix Ken will choose] into the field and tap Save.
8. Back at the previous screen tap back to save the data. Then "0. Exit" to go back to the configuration menu.
9. Tap the "X" in the lower right to exit the application.
