HeavyTruckParts.net/EmbededSearch

Setting up parts searches embedded into your website if not hosted by ISoft.

The search is placed within an iframe.

The iframe is reactive so it is able to scale to widths above 300px. For most uses they should set the height to something around 800px.

The example below will open the search to all parts you have available.

ex. <iframe src ="http://iframe_ex.heavytruckparts.net" width="100%" height="800px" border="0"></iframe>

Replace the http://iframe_ex.heavytruckparts.net above with the links and options that you want below on the parts search page.

• for all parts in inventory and all selection options active http://iframe_ex.heavytruckparts.net
• for a specific part specify the part type http://iframe_ex.heavytruckparts.net/search.php?PartID=3000
• for a specific part specify the part type with a specific manufacturer and displays results http://iframe_ex.heavytruckparts.net/search.php?PartID=3000&ManufMake=CAT&qsearch=TRUE
• The qsearch flag automatically displays results but is recommened have a parttype and manufacturer to be the most useful to your end users.

For the above second option any parttype that you use in ITrack can be specified. The some of the most common are:

• 3000 engine assembly http://iframe_ex.heavytruckparts.net/search.php?PartID=3000&qsearch=TRUE
• 1170 hood http://iframe_ex.heavytruckparts.net/search.php?PartID=1170&qsearch=TRUE
• 1640 cab clip http://iframe_ex.heavytruckparts.net/search.php?PartID=1640&qsearch=TRUE
• 4000 transmissions http://iframe_ex.heavytruckparts.net/search.php?PartID=4000&qsearch=TRUE
• 9000 complete vehicles http://iframe_ex.heavytruckparts.net/search.php?PartID=9000&qsearch=TRUE
