Factors for part appearance on HTP.net

Parts will appear if:

  • Status is A or H
    • Parts with a status of H will display an overlay, letting the user know that the part may not be available anymore.
  • Quantity greater than zero
  • Part has been mark in ITrack to appear on the Web. See section below
  • Match our manufacturer and model lists (.0, spaces and - are ignored)

But will appear with the message: "As many as X additional unpriced parts available. Contact this facility for more information. " if:

  • Part has a category of 'CORE' or no suggested prices
  • Suggested price is 40% of cost the price states (on some customer websites the parts are completely removed)

Note:

Customers (embedded) websites don't have to match HTP.net's manufacturer and model lists in order for parts to show up.

Configuring parts in ITrack to appear/not appear on HTP.net

By default both ITrack Pro and Enterprise will mark parts to appear on HTP.net, users must decide per part to not show on the web.

Pro

  • Parts screen > Advanced tab > Show part on Internet checkbox

Enterprise

  • Parts screen > Advanced tab > Make part public checkbox
  • Vehicles screen > Whole Units tab > Unit is public (show on internet) checkbox
